Luke Chapman is a bay area based actor. Luke knew at an early age a normal job would not suit him. He loved playing characters, making funny faces, and entertaining people. Luke eventually got over his self-consciousness about singing and started auditioning for shows in the 7th grade. Luke performed in over a dozen shows during his middle school and high school days. All the while he directed and made several video projects including a full-length Hamlet video for his high school senior project. He went to the University of California of Santa Barbara where he participated in the BFA acting program and eventually graduated with a degree in theater.

Oddly enough Luke decided to foray into musical theater full time after being given a dance solo in William Shakespeare's Winter's Tale. Luke Moved back to the Bay Area in the spring of 2009 and has been hitting the show circuit ever since, having most recently played Mark Cohen in Rent. Luke has followed that up with a lead role in 42nd Street Moon's Very Warm for May. Luke will next appear as "Hero" 42nd Street Moon's production of A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum.

Luke currently takes dance at DAC in San Carlos and continues to make movies and work on his vocal technique with his terrific vocal coach Richard Nickol. Luke most recently launched his first music video "Rickroll Reloaded" a parody of the "rick roll" phenomenon on youtube this april.

When he's not performing Luke is a crossing guard at Sandpiper elementary school in the great city of Re_ Wood cit_. He also enjoys playing zombie games with his little brother Daniel, king hippo, the sparkinator, eating round table pizza, thinking of ways to make "man sexy" an expression, and he strongly advises you to walk your bike in the crosswalk...
